Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/- Leaders of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Democratic Party (PDM) and Liberal Party (PL) agreed at the negotiations held on 22 July on how to share the ministries within the new government.
The three leaders announced that the formula of sharing the ministries, as well as a string of candidates for the ministers' seats had been considered and decided after more hours of talks.
"It is working on text editing, and we finished to apply formula of sharing positions. We set that tomorrow we will achieve the signing of political agreement. There are candidates, who were evoked, premier, parliament speaker", PD leader Marian Lupu said.
PLDM leader Vlad Filat said that there was already a candidate for the premier's post.
"I would like to say who is he, but we must be fair. I must make some remarks. PLDM took the decision that the party's leader Vlad Filat should be submitted as a candidate for the premier's position. I talked to colleagues of coalition, but they submitted more formal reasons, as the leaders should not get out to the forefront. I said earlier that neither me nor the PLDM will block the creation of coalition. I took a responsible decision to submit to this position a candidate who has integrity and necessary skills to ensure the leadership of government in this period complicated for Moldova", Filat said.
PL leader Mihai Ghimpu announced that the party would have four seats of minister: environment, defence, education and transport.
The positions of finance, internal, agriculture, youth, foreign ministers as well as Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry will be held by the Liberal Democrats. The PD will have the Justice, Construction and Regional Development, Culture, Health, Information Technology and Communications and Economics Ministries.
