PPEM establishment congress held in Chisinau

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The congress of establishment of the European People's Party of Moldova (PPEM) took place in Chisinau on 26 July.
Iurie Leanca was elected as party's leader with the vote of over 300 participants in the event. Leanca specified that the formation's priority would be to ensure a local democracy, which would allow Moldova to have a clear development path.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Carpov will held the office of PPEM first deputy chairman and Mihai Godea and Oazu Nantoi will occupy the posts of deputy chairs.
Iurie Leanca aslo informed that ex-Liberal Democrat MP Nicolae Juravschi joined the mentioned party.
