Moldovan citizens to travel without visas to Serbia

16:30 | 29.07.2015 Category: Official

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that the necessary procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement between the Moldovan and Serbian governments on the abolition of visa regime for citizens of both states have been completed, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.

Thus, starting from 6 August 2015 Moldovan citizens holding valid bio-metric passports are exempted from the requirement of a visa to enter, exit, transit and temporarily remain in Serbia for a period of up to 90 days within 6 months from the date of the first entry.

At the same time, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry warns that the rigors of travel and the validity of documents are identical to those in European states.
