Moldovan premier introduces new ministers to staff

Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today introduced the new ministers to the teams of the institutions they will be leading, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

The prime minister first went to the Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry, where he introduced Minister Mircea Buga to the staff. Subsequently, Valeriu Strelet presented Ruxanda Glavan - the new health minister.

"We are going through difficult times. We have a lot of challenges and problems to cope with. Honesty and accountability in carrying out our job duties is fundamental to enhance the trust of the people in the fact that those who are at the helm of the state do their job properly," stressed the prime minister.

Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet also went to the Youth and Sports Ministry, where he introduced Loretta Handrabura and - Iurie Chirinciuc at the Transport and Roads Infrastructure Ministry. The new Environment Minister Valeriu Munteanu was also introduced to the team of the institution today.

Also, the prime minister introduced Justice Minister Vladimir Cebotari to his new team. "The ministry has a lot of work to do. Attention will be focused, on the one hand, on the recovery of delays in this field and, on the other hand - to track the enforcement of laws that are within your competence," said the prime minister.

Afterwards, the prime minister went to the Education Ministry, led by Corina Fusu. "You are managing an area of particular importance to our country, a leader in terms of reforms, an area which is often cited as an example and plays its fundamental part in developing the state. We will not give up the course of reforms underway."

The prime minister wished success to the new ministers, highlighting the importance of the areas they managed and assured them that they would enjoy every support of the government’s leadership in pressing ahead with the reforms. At the same time, the prime minister thanked former ministers for professionalism and work within the government.
