Moldovan National Confederation of Employers supports premier in carrying out government's objectives

Chisinau, 7 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today met members of the Standing Bureau of the National Confederation of Employers of Moldova (CNPM), the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The sides discussed issues of the social and economic situation in the country, in particular, ensuring decision-making transparency, fighting corruption and justice reform, illegal transport, lack of qualified personnel. They also reiterated the need to establish a mechanism for cooperation between employers and institutions.
"This meeting represents a first sign that I am open to discuss and consult with employers whenever needed. I am counting on a constructive dialogue, "said the premier.
"If there is an open dialogue, we assure you of every support on behalf of employers to carry out the tasks of the government you lead,"CNPM chairman Leonid Cerescu said.
In this context, Cerescu proposed that the prime minister acted as coordinator of the National Commission for Consultation and Collective Bargaining. The members of the CNPM Standing Bureau said they were ready to participate in discussions on drafting the Medium Term Expenditure Framework 2016-2018, the State Budget Law for 2016, the state social insurances, as well as health insurances budgets.
The CNPM leadership suggested that the prime minister does not allow consideration and approval of draft legislative and normative acts on the business environment in government meetings, without the approval of the Working Group on regulating the entrepreneurial activity.
CNPM Chairman Leonid Cerescu congratulated Valeriu Strelet on his appointment as prime minister of Moldova and thanked him for the interest shown in problems raised by employers.
