Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet on 11 August afternoon met a group of representatives of the National Bureau of Motor Insurers (BNAA), who came up with a number of short and medium-term proposals. In their opinion, these would reduce the risk of excluding BNAA from the Green Card international insurance system, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The prime minister reiterated his stand, expressed also at a meeting from 10 August, stressing that he would be able to intervene within his competence. Valeriu Strelet noted that the measures taken by the government to improve the situation in the banking system, justice reform and fighting corruption, ensuring macroeconomic stability in the country could serve as guarantees for the Council of the Bureau for the Green Card international insurance system.
BNAA representatives were encouraged to revisit their proposals for the following meeting with the prime minister.
