Moldovan foreign minister, Israeli MP tackle bilateral ties

Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman today had a meeting with a lawmaker of the Israeli parliament, Avigdor Lieberman, on a working visit to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication department has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions on the Moldovan-Israeli bilateral dialogue, as well as the political situation in both countries.
The head of the Moldovan diplomacy thanked Avigdor Lieberman for backing the development of the bilateral ties in his previous tenure of Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Israel. The relations were marked by a multidimensional development of the Moldovan-Israeli cooperation, especially in the agriculture sector, tourism, energy efficiency, telecommunications and IT, air transport, constructions and infrastructure, regional development and environment.
For his part, the Israeli official highlighted the good collaboration with the Moldovan authorities, stressing willingness to further contribute to turning to good account the bilateral cooperation.
Also, the officials discussed ways of mutual support within international organisations, possibilities to attract Israeli investments in Moldova, as well as successful implementation of the visa free travel regime for the citizens of both countries.
