Moldovan PM to visit Brussels

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today had a phone conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. The officials assessed Moldova's achievements in implementing the European integration agenda and the stage of reforms carried out in the context of enforcing the provisions of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
Mogherini assured Strelet of EU's every support in implementing the reforms, modernising the country and continuing the European agenda.
For his part, the premier expressed openness for an efficient dialogue with European partners. At the same time, he presented the government's priorities: macro-financial stability, justice reform, fight against corruption, social protection of citizens and ensuring energy security.
The officials approached the internal political situation from Moldova, as well as the regional one.
Also, the officials reconfirmed the mutual willingness for a productive dialogue, on the occasion of the premier's visit to Brussels, due in September.
