Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip today approached the functioning of telephone lines of public authorities in the government’s subordination, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
Filip said more complaints reached the government through its hotline, which aims to monitor the observance of the moratorium on state controls of economic agents. People complained that more telephonic lines and phone numbers of public institutions were not functioning.
In this context, the prime minister asked that all governmental institutions enhance the efficiency of their communication with the citizens and update contact data, including anti-corruption hotlines, on their official web-pages. “I demand that all public institutions inform citizens of the functioning programme of their phone numbers and anti-corruption hotlines, update their data on web sites and inform citizens on how they can access these institutions through telephonic lines in various ways,” Filip said.
The government’s hotline was launched on 4 February 2016 to denounce abuse cases performed by control bodies during the moratorium period.
