Moldovan Foreign Ministry issues travel warning to Poland for 2-31 July 2016

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/-The Foreign and European Integration Ministry is warning citizens planning to travel to Poland that Polish authorities' intention to re-introduce checks at its internal Schengen borders, as well as in ports and airports, during 2-31 July 2016, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication department has reported.
The measure was taken in the context of Poland’s hosting of NATO Summit during 8-9 July 2016 and the World Youth Days on 25-31 July 2016.
To pass the control, Moldovan travelers will need to present a valid passport and if necessary, a document confirming their right to enter Poland.
The Foreign and European Integration Ministry recommends Moldovan citizens who want to travel to Poland in the above-mentioned period of time, make sure they have all the necessary documents.
