Moldovan PM says employers' confederation reliable partner of government

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today participated in a festivity occasioned by the 20th anniversary of the National Employers’ Confederation (CNMP), the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
In his speech, Pavel Filip highlighted CNMP’s role in facilitating the cooperation between the business community and state’s authorities on all the present consultation platforms. The prime minister is the promoter of the improvement and permanent development of the dialogue with professional associations, in efficient updatings of the policies worked out by the government. Filip believes that the solutions and predictability demanded by the business environment should come from this dialogue as well
“CNPM has proved that it was a reliable dialogue partner during 20 years of work. This is really the most representative structure of the employers from Moldova. I urge business people to associate under the umbrella of the Confederation, in order to be more eloquent in the dialogue with the government and public authorities,” the prime minister said.
Pavel Filip also referred to cabinet’s actions to improve the conditions for enterprises’ work, such as moratorium on state controls, reducing the number of permissive acts and licences, establishing the Single Desk for issuance of the latter, reforming the bodies with control duties, optimizing the reporting procedures.
“On the next period, we intend to reset the regulation institutions, in order to uproot the practice of abuses and constraints in relations with the enterprises,” Pavel Filip added.
The National Employers Confederation participates in working out and approving draft laws, normative acts, programmes and policies with social and economic impact. Presently, CNMP has 16 members representing over 5,000 enterprises, where about 450,000 wage earners work.
