Moldovan students to benefit from scholarships provided by European Commission

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/- Representatives of the College of Europe, in partnership with the Foreign and European Integration Ministry, carried out a new round of selecting Moldovan young people, candidates for the master’s degree in this prestigious institution, in Chisinau on 25-26 April, for the third year in a row, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s communication and media relations service has reported.
Thus, students selected for the 2016-2017 academic year will benefit from scholarships provided by the European Commission to young people from the countries covered by the European Neighborhood Policy.
Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari met the head of selection committee, director of the communication and foreign relations service of the College of Europe, Richard Washington. The officials emphasised the high level of education of Moldovan students, which represented an important prerequisite for further professional training. The sides also underlined the importance of school graduates’ subsequent employment at Moldovan state institutions.
The College of Europe is a private university, founded in 1949 in Bruges, Belgium, which in 1992, created a new centre in Natolin, Poland. The university is considered as one of the oldest and prestigious postgraduate institution from EU, which trains highly qualified officials for state institutions involved in carrying out public policies in the economic, justice, diplomacy and European affairs.
