Moldovan foreign ministry's secretary-general meets delegation of Israeli foreign ministry

Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry Anatol Vangheli today received a delegation of the Foreign Ministry of the State of Israel. The delegation is made up of Ambassador, deputy director general on Eurasian affairs Zvi Rav-Ner and non-resident Jerusalem-based Ambassador of the State of Israel to Moldova Oren David, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The visit fits into the context of strengthening the Moldovan-Israeli diplomatic dialogue and marking the Independence Day of Israel in Moldova.
On this occasion, the officials reviewed the stage and prospects of the bilateral relations, highlighting both states’ joint interest to strengthen the political dialogue and identify possibilities of deepening the commercial and economic relations. At the same time, the sides exchanged opinions on subjects of multilateral interaction, including Moldova’s cooperation with Israel within international organisations.
Anatol Vangheli thanked the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s officials for the support by the State of Israel provided to Moldova, both within concrete projects, such as the creation of a laboratory of molecular biology, MASHAV training, as well as backing for the plan on implementing democratic reforms in Moldova. The Israeli diplomats reiterated their will to further back Moldova, as well as interest in consolidating the mutually advantageous cooperation in diverse sectors in the long run.
