Moldovan governmental commission for European integration assesses progress in implementation of association agenda

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip chaired a weekly meeting of the governmental commission for European integration on 11 May, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The participants in the event considered the results of removing arrears on implementation of the Association Agreement, which the Health Ministry and Information and Security Service are responsible for. Also, they set the tasks for next period.
In this context, the premier remarked that achieving on time the actions seen in the roadmap on reform agenda was extremely important in order to further prove the government’s firm determination to advance in the European integration process. Filip asked all institutions to mobilize the efforts in order to ensure full enforcement of commitments.
During the next meeting, the members of the governmental commission for European integration will consider issues related to preparation for meetings of structures for monitoring the Association Agreement, created along with the European institutions under the agreement’s provisions. Also, they will consider the level of meeting the commitments seen in the European Common Aviation Area Agreement.
