Moldovan foreign minister meets Belgian counterpart

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur met Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Belgium Didier Reynders during an working visit to Belgium on 24 May, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s communication and media relations service has reported.
The two officials discussed issues related to the current stage and bilateral cooperation perspectives. The sides stressed the common commitment to boost the political dialogue and economic cooperation, in order to turn to good account more effectively the assistance offered by Belgium in implementing the reforms seen in the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.
In another context, the sides exchanged opinions about topical issues on the international agenda, such as: fighting terrorism, overcoming the refugees crisis, Eastern Partnership-related problems and developments in the area.
