Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, at a today’s cabinet meeting, tackled the issue of preparation for the end-of-school-year exams in the education institutions, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
“We need that these exams observe the exigencies for testing the knowledge; the young people must be taught that the results cannot be achieved but following their personal effort and that a lot of work is necessary to this end,” the prime minister said.
Pavel Filip demanded that the Education Ministry undertakes all measures for a good organisation of the examinations, the school-leaving exams and the ones of finishing the gymnasium cycle. The PM also said that decision-takers should ensure the avoidance of situations in which the pupils are victims of excessive exigencies, or of over-zealousness on behalf of exams’ organisers.
At the same time, Pavel Filip demanded that the Health Ministry came up with concrete solutions to the problem of access to quality medication and treatment, referring including to the carrying out of a recently approved action plan on residents’ supply with medicines. The prime minister stressed that, on the next period, a meeting with decision-makers from the medical system would be convened, within which the competent institutions are to have a clear-cut vision on the reforms in this sector.
