Moldovan PM demands authorities urgently remove arrears in implementation of priority reforms

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip chaired a meeting of the governmental commission for EU integration (CGIE) on 25 May 2016. The participants discussed each of the actions included on the road map of priority reforms in the implementation of Moldova-EU Association Agreement, in order to make sure the enforcement of the document’s provisions is strictly monitored, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
Thus, institutions with arrears in the implementation of the road map for March-May 2016, committed to take emergency measures to fill in the gaps by mid-July and ensure an efficient synchronization of their activities with the parliament and other state institutions involved in the process.
The officials also assessed the readiness level for the next meetings of Moldova-EU dialogue on human rights and Moldova-EU Association Subcommittee for freedom, security and justice, due on 8-9 June 2016, in Brussels. Filip demanded that public authorities in charge ensure Moldova’s high-quality presentation during these events.
