Two modern laboratories inaugurated at Chisinau-based vocational school

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - Two modern laboratories for the professions of electrician in constructions and plasterer, endowed with high-tech equipment, were inaugurated at the vocational school No 7 from Chisinau.
According to the Education Ministry’s press service, the laboratories are meant to ensure the practical training of pupils for the trades of electrician in constructions and plasterer, thus contributing to their qualitative training for the labour market.
The labs were modernized within the CONSEPT project, implemented by the Foundation Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), in partnership with the Moldovan Education Ministry. The total sum of the repair works and equipment amounted to almost one million lei.
At the event, Deputy Education Minister Cristina Boaghi said that, “due to the modern conditions of education, training equipment and laboratories, we can advance and construct a performant vocational education system, which is to meet the needs of the labour market.”
The Education Ministry presently carries out the reform of the vocational education, with the European Union’s support, in order to modernize the sector and train specialists according to employers’ requirements.
