Moldovan foreign ministry's secretary general on working visit to France

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - Secretary General of the Foreign and European Integration Minister Anatol Vangheli on 26-27 May paid a working visit to France, to give an impetus to the bilateral relations in more sectors, including through protection of the rights and interests of the Moldovans, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.   

Within the visit, the Moldovan official had meetings at the Foreign Affairs and International Development Ministry, among which with Secretary General Christian Masset and other high-ranking representatives of the institution. The sides exchanged opinions on the present stage of the Moldovan-French ties, in particular, as regards the strengthening of the legal framework, conversion of driver’s licences and recognition of education diplomas, as well as the studying of the French experience in the field of the Foreign Ministry’s work.   

Anatol Vangheli said that Moldova attached special importance to the continuous development and consolidation of the friendship and cooperation relations with France, which is one of the most important strategic development partners of Moldova. For his part, the French diplomat evoked the significance of the entry into force, starting from 1 July 2016, of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, that will help boost the cooperation in diverse sectors.  

In the end of the visit, the sides reiterated the maintaining of the dialogue between the secretary generals, and Anatol Vangheli invited Christian Masset to make a visit to Moldova.
