International exhibition, festival inaugurated at Chisinau-based Moldexpo centre

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - An international exhibition and festival of goods and services for children and future mothers, KID’S EXPO, the sixth issue, was inaugurated at the Moldexpo Centre today. Over 70 companies from Moldova, Ukraine and Hong Kong region of China exhibited their goods at the exhibition. The event will be staged till 5 June.
Attending the inauguration, Deputy Economics Minister Vitalie Iurcu welcomed the participants in the exhibition. He said that this was the most important event for children, parents and future mothers, which will also include a very diverse programme of concerts, games, contests, entertainment, as well as other activities for children. ”I wish the children nice entertainment and pleasant rest, in the context of the beginning of the summer holidays,” Iurcu noted.
The director general of the Moldexpo international exhibitions centre, Arcadie Andronic, said the participants in the exhibition had displayed a wide range of clothes, footwear and accessories for children, pregnant women, diverse food products, sweets, furniture for children, bedclothes, toys, books for children’s development and literature for children, etc.
More children’s bands with different kinds of dance, as well as vocal and vocal and instrumental ensembles from more Moldovan districts will perform during the five days of the exhibition. Fashion shows for children, as well as for future mothers will be held; new collections of clothes for small children, school uniforms, as well as special models of the Summer-2016 collection will be presented on this period, Andronic added.
The exhibition KID’s EXPO is organized by the Moldexpo Centre, with the official support of the Economics Ministry, Education Ministry, Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry and Health Ministry.
