Four Moldovan local roads to be repaired starting from 2017

Chisinau, 9 June /MOLDPRES/- Four local roads making the link to national roads will be repaired starting from 2017. The Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry made the statement today.
“It is about the Cornesti-Sinesti-Comova-Oniscani-Raciula (48.5 km), Peresecina-Hirtopul Mare-Izbiste-Ohrincea (33.2 km), Pirlita-Balanesti-Seliste (40.9 km) and Pojareni-Costesti-Horesti-Tipala (34.6 km) roads”, a press release by the institution reads.
Thus, over 150 km of road of 300 km will be repaired under a financing agreement between Moldova and International Development Association on carrying out the Local Roads Improvement Project. The period of works is five years.
The investments are amounted to about 80 million lei, provided by the World Bank.
