Moldovan speaker pays working visit to Bucharest, Brussels

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu pays a working visit to Bucharest and Brussels on 13-16 June, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
According to the agenda, Candu will have meetings with Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis, Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and Romanian Senate Speaker Calin Popescu-Tariceanu.
In Brussels, Candu has planned meetings with President of the Belgian Senate Christine Defraigne, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmark Brok, Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission Christian Danielsson, Head of the department for Eastern Partnership states in the European External Action Service Dirk Schuebel, Secretary General of the Belgian Senate Alain Le Roy.
The main issues due to be tackled are focused on strengthening bilateral strategic partnerships, boosting interinstitutional cooperation and reconfirming foreign support for Moldova.
Also, the speaker will attend an official dinner offered by Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz of Belgium.
