The diesel price increased to the level announced by oil companies before the public debates following the increases from 23-25 May. At the same time, the pump price for petrol is just by 0.10 lei lower than the one established during the increases from late last May.
The concerned prices were established in accordance with the provisions of the new Methodology of formation and application of prices for oil products, in force till 13 May 2016. Each operator on the oil products market will determine, taking into account the ceiling prices set by ANRE, the retail selling prices, will publish them on its webpage and will post them on information panels from fuel supply stations. The prices set by operators will enter into force and will be applied for all consumers starting from Wednesday, at 00.01 am. The operators have no right to sell fuels by retail at higher prices than the ceiling ones established by ANRE.
