Moldovan government to receive every parliamentary support for implementing reforms in roadmap

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/- Representatives of the Parliamentary Majority Council believe “as necessary and absolutely mandatory” to continue implementing all reforms under the terms stipulated in the roadmap of governance. They made the statements at a recently held working meeting.
According to a press release by the Secretariat of Parliamentary Majority Council, the participants in the meeting discussed the achievement in preparing a new programme with the International Monetary Fund and a public administration reform. Also, they set the working stages needed to ensure an attractive business and investment environment, generator of jobs, as well as to meet the commitments assumed by the government in the relation with the civil society.
Another issue on the agenda was related to the approval by the Venice Commission on amendments to the Electoral Code, which would allow organizing presidential elections of this year. The council proposed to organize public discussions next period in order to debate all proposals and to adopt legal framework taking into account the civil society’s opinions.
The government representatives will receive parliamentary support to meet the goals.
