Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today appointed Radu Bezniuc as director general of the Civil Aviation Authority.
“I have said that it is very important that we make proper order and discipline in this field. I want no suspicion to hang over the institution, so Mr. Bezniuc has a very important task,” PM Pavel Filip said.
In his capacity of deputy director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Radu Bezniuc was in charge of the aspects dealing with the transposition of the EU and international norms and standards in the civil aviation sector in the Moldovan normative framework.
Last week, the government dismissed Mircea Maleca from the office of director general of the Civil Aviation Authority, including under suspicion of a possible conflict of interests in case of an air company.
