PM says people greatest wealth of Moldova, knowledge decisive production factor

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ - The good organization of the education system in the eastern Dubasari district, problems faced by education institutions, as well as the people’s needs in this respect were the main subjects tackled by Prime Minister Pavel Filip at a today’s visit to the Dorotcaia village, Dubasari district. The PM visited the local lyceum and kindergarten, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The prime minister stressed that he wanted an open dialogue with the local residents, in order to listen to problems faced by the citizens and see their vision on the settlement of problems in the society.
“The education system is a very important one for Moldova. I am personally sure that the development of a state is focused on three basic pillars: supremacy of law, developed infrastructure and the education system. People represent the greatest wealth of Moldova and the knowledge is the decisive production factor,” Pavel Filip said.
The prime minister referred to the government’s action programme, actions undertaken to stabilize the financial and social situation, as well as plans for future, in order to ensure good living conditions for people at home, by creating jobs with decent incomes.
During the discussions, the sides approached a string of important subjects for the education system, such as: children’s access to education institutions, extension of the infrastructure of schools and kindergartens, as the number of children is on the rise, allocation of financial resources, as well as the organization of the summer leisure for the children from this settlement.
The people appreciated the government’s efforts and the results achieved as regards the payment of salaries to teachers and children’s nourishment in education institutions.
Starting from 2001, pupils from the village and Grigoriopol town have been studying at the Dorotcaia lyceum.
