Moldovan parliament condemns Istanbul terror attack

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament condemns the terrorist attacks which occurred at the Istanbul-based International Ataturk Airport late on 28 June, in the wake of which 41 people died and another over 200 were injured, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu expresses condolences to the families and relatives of those who were killed in the aftermath of the two suicide bomb attacks.
“On behalf of Moldova’s parliament, I convey our deep sympathy to the relatives of the victims and we wish as quick as possible recovery to the injured. We are united with the authorities of Turkey and the Turkish nation, as only together we can efficiently combat terrorism and we have obligation to fight with all available forces, including through dialogue and reasonable arguments,” Andrian Candu said.
The parliament speaker informed that the Moldovan citizens staying in Turkey would benefit from every needed institutional support.
