Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip on 29 June chaired a meeting of the government’s commission for European integration. The participants considered the present stage of implementation of the Roadmap on priority reforms’ agenda, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

According to the updated information, 68 per cent of the commitments assumed by this document have been carried out, the others are under full implementation. At the same time, the participants in the meeting noted that the deadline for enforcing the provisions of the Roadmap expired in one month, which requires a high speed for giving final touches to all the actions planned.

Also, the members of the aforementioned commission heard reports unveiled by competent institutions on the results of the joint meetings with the European Union concerning the implementation of the Association Agreement’s provisions, within the sub-committees on economy, social and sectoral aspects, in the sanitary and phyto-sanitary field, the sector for freedom, security and justice, as well as on human rights.

Joint findings showed that Moldova had made progress on all the above-mentioned dimensions at discussions with European partners. At the same time, the participants in the meeting analysed the debts recorded in some areas and solutions to remove them.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip demanded speeding up of the needed actions to implement in time the commitments taken by the Roadmap and the ones seen in the Action Plan for implementing the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
