Moldovan deputy foreign minister meets Secretary General of Austrian Foreign Ministry

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - On the margins of the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference, held on 28-30 June 2016, in Vienna, Austria, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii met today with the Secretary General of the Austrian Foreign Ministry Michael Linhart, The Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication department has reported.
The interlocutors made an extensive exchange of views on the bilateral co-operation agenda. Deputy Minister Darii mentioned the ascending dynamics of bilateral relations. He thanked for the Austrian technical and development assistance within the framework of the Development Co-operation Programme, implemented through the Austrian Development Agency, in such important areas as good governance, institutional capacity building, vocational education, water supply.
The officials also focused on the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, including from the perspective of the takeover of the OSCE Chairmanship by Austria in 2017. Deputy Minister Darii underlined the importance of maintaining the Transnistrian conflict settlement issue high on the agenda of the Austrian representatives in the OSCE Troika, as well as of the implementation of confidence building measures in the context of the Transnitrian conflict settlement process.
