Moldovan premier, Ukrainian counterpart discuss ties by phone

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today had a phone conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymir Groysman, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The two officials exchanged opinions on up-to-date subjects of common interest on the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations and prospects for their development.
Stressing the positive dynamic of the bilateral contacts between the governmental institutions from the two states, the PMs declared for boosting the political dialogue and multilateral cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine.
Also, the sides highlighted the need to strengthen efforts, in the context of the new challenges and problems faced by Ukraine, as well as the importance of resuming the work of the Moldovan-Ukrainian intergovernmental Commission for economic cooperation, which has not held meetings since 2011.
Pavel Filip invited Volodymir Groysman to pay a visit to Chisinau, to participate in the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence, due on 27 August 2016.
