Moldovan foreign ministry condemns Dhaka, Bangladesh, terrorist attack

Chisinau, July 4 /MOLDPRES/ – The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) strongly condemns the terrorist attack that took place on 2 July in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, killing over twenty foreigners from Italy, Japan, the USA, India and representatives of local law-enforcement bodies. Such violence acts have no justification, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.
The Ministry expresses solidarity with the Bangladesh, Italy, Japan, the U.S. and Indian authorities and deep regret about the loss of people’s lives, compassion for grieving families.
The ministry reiterates Moldova’s strong commitment to fighting all forms of terrorism and reaffirms the need to join and boost international efforts to combat them.
