Moldovan deputy foreign minister meets representatives of OSCE observation mission representatives

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii today had a meeting with representatives of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR/OSCE), in order to assess the needs related to the organization of the presidential elections, set for 30 October 2016, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) information and media communication service has reported.
The sides discussed actions due to be undertaken by MAEIE, jointly with other competent institutions, in order to ensure the preparation and good carrying out of the presidential elections at the polling stations from abroad.
Deputy Minister Lilian Darii also said the ODIHR observation mission was very important, in the context of the next October elections, and the results of the polls’ monitoring would represent a solid basis to further improve the management of the electoral process in Moldova.
