Moldovan premier conveys condolences to French nation

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today laid flowers and signed in the condolence book opened by the Embassy of France in Chisinau, in the memory of the victims of the terror attack which occurred in the Nice city late on 14 July, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
In his message, the PM reiterated Moldova’s firm will to support joint efforts in fighting the terrorism, which hits the entire mankind.
”We are with those who suffered and convey them a message of solidarity. This is a lesson we everybody must learn, terrorism has no nationality or borders; therefore, we must join efforts and do our utmost, so that such acts never repeat,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.
Also today, the prime minister signed a letter to his French counterpart Manuel Valls, thereby conveying condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, as well as soon recovery to the injured in the wake of this terrorist act. “This is an inhuman and revolting gesture, which we firmly condemn. On behalf of Moldova’s government and on my own behalf, I want to express sincere condolence to You and the entire French nation. In these moments of ordeal, we are by the side of the mourning families and the families of the wounded and assured them of our full sympathy,” reads the message signed by Pavel Filip.
