Istanbul-based Ataturk Airport resumes working

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Ataturk International Airport from Istanbul resumed working today morning.
According to the press service of the Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority (AAC), the institution monitors the situation concerning the air flights connecting Moldova and Turkey. Thus, the today flights TK269 Istanbul-Chisinau from 8:15 and TK270 Chisinau-Istanbul from 10:45 were cancelled. The 55 passengers who registered in Istanbul and 97 ones who recorded in Chisinau were redirected to other flights or accommodated at hotel.
Additional flights by Turkish Airlines are not scheduled, but the present capacities will be supplemented. The Turkish company will operate the next flight with a larger aircraft than the earlier planned one, in order to carry the passengers from the cancelled flights.

At the same time, AAC said the flights to Antalya were carried out according to schedule.
