Chisinau, July 18 /MOLDPRES/ – The law on mandatory health insurance accounts for 2016 will be published in the 19 July issue of the Official Journal.
The mandatory health insurances accounts stand at 5 838 515,5 thousand lei in 2016. Compared to 2015, authorities forecast an increase in mandatory health insurances accounts by 13.1 per cent and in expenditures - by 11 per cent. While developing the draft budget, the government took into account an average monthly nominal salary estimated at 5,050 lei for 2016, a labour remuneration fund worth 36.2 billion lei, an inflation rate of 10.5 per cent and a Gross Domestic Product amounting to 133.5 billion lei.
The mandatory health insurance premium in form of percentage contribution was kept at nine per cent in 2015, of which the employer pays 4.5 per cent and the employee - 4.5 percent. The mandatory health insurance premium in form of fixed amount for 2016 will be 4, 056.0 lei. The revenues from mandatory health insurances premiums for 2016 will account for 55.8 percent of all revenues of the mandatory health insurances accounts.
The draft also provides for a 50-per cent increase in spending for compensated medication, rise in the volume of hemodialysis services, additional means to purchase expensive consumables and expanding other services included in the one-off programme.
The parliament adopted the law on mandatory health insurances accounts for 2016 on 1 June 2016.
