Moldovan prime minister interested in Ungheni justice palace construction

Chisinau, July 19 /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip inspected the construction site of a new headquarters of the Justice Palace in Ungheni city, at a visit paid to the western Ungheni district today, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The PM took knowledge of the schedule of carrying out the works and showed interest in issues related to the project implementation. A representative of the constructions company said that about 40 percent of the works were fulfilled at present, and the building was to be made available for use till late 2016.
"This building is further proof that we are working for a fair justice. Here in Ungheni, we will have - very soon I hope - a new Justice Palace, where we will be able to work in better conditions. I want cases be judged in this building as soon as possible, and in particular, I want them to be judged fairly. A fair justice will guarantee us also investments in the country's economy, which will lead to the country's development, "said Pavel Filip.
Building new headquarters of the Ungheni Court is part of the Action Plan for implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy for 2011-2016. The project is financed with European funds and is worth 57.5 million lei.
