Chisinau, July 19 /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip, on a working visit to the western Ungheni district, went to a kindergarten in Pirlita village. The PM inspected the process of repair of building's roof, damaged in the wake of natural disasters from last June and had to be replaced with metal roofing, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The prime minister was informed about the stage of the renovation of the heating system of kindergarten. Thus, old stoves that run on solid fuel boilers were replaced with two performant ones, and old windows have been replaced with glass-panes. The project is implemented with the support of the government of Romania and has a total value of 940 thousand lei.
At the same time, the prime minister discussed with the institution's staff shortcomings encountered in organizing the education system and preschool education reform.
"A state can be prosperous if the focus is on three main objectives: infrastructure, rule of law and, the most important, education of the young generations. Today, not land or factories are production factors, but people's capabilities and education. The education system is a priority for this government and we will endeavour to modernize and optimize it," said Pavel Filip in discussion with the management of the institution.
