Moldovan governance coalition council assesses progress, priorities in implementing reforms

Chisinau, July 20 /MOLDPRES/ – The Governance Coalition Council (GCC), at a 19 July in a meeting, assessed the stage of achieving the objectives in legislative and executive branches, as well as subsequent actions.
According to the GCC press service, the agenda included such topics as "completing the implementation of the Roadmap on priority reforms, draft Law on integrity, draft framework law on subsidizing agriculture, the bill on revision of the conventional unit and fines, need of additional consultations on legislative initiatives concerning the audiovisual sector and other issues.''
The governance coalition also discussed the need to strengthen efforts of the entire society to support Moldova's European integration. "To this end, the coalition members ruled to launch a call for dialogue to all pro-European forces of parliament, to identify the best opportunities for constructive and substantive cooperation, in order to modernize Moldova and ensure a prosperous future for all citizens", reads the GCC statement.
The topics discussed by the Governance Coalition Council are to be promoted on the agenda of parliament and government.
