Romanian president conveys congratulatory message on Moldova's independence

Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/- President Nicoale Timofti today received a congratulatory message from his Romanian counterpart Klaus Werner Iohannis on the 25th anniversary of Moldova’s independence, the presidential press service has reported.
The message reads:
“The 25th anniversary of Moldova’s independence offers me the occasion to convey to you and to all citizens of Moldova sincere congratulations, wishes of good health, prosperity and success.
I am pleased to remark the solid and ample character of our bilateral relations, based on community of language, culture and history. The opened and constructive spirit, in which we approach priorities of concrete cooperation, as well as pragmatic orientation towards projects meant to meet expectations of our citizens and constant support of Romania for Moldova’s European aspirations, are arguments that make me look confidently towards further development of the strategic partnership, uniting our states.
I assure you of our firm decision to back the projects related to improve life of all Moldovans and fulfillment of their European destiny.
I ask you, Mr. President, to receive my special consideration.”
