Moldovan foreign minister meets Slovak counterpart

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- In the context of an informal meeting between foreign ministers of European Union and foreign ministers of Eastern Partnership countries, held in Bratislava, Slovakia, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák on 3 September, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions abut the implementation of the Association Agreement, including the EU-Moldova cooperation priorities during next period. Galbur thanked his Slovak counterpart for constant support on Moldova's European agenda, especially, the assistance in promoting justice reform and strengthening civil society capacities.
The two officials also approached the prospects for development of bilateral relations, implementation of projects in assistance for development, in the context stressing the importance of Moldovan-Slovak sectoral cooperation at different levels. They tackled issues related t evolutions at international level and the regional situation.
