Moldovan foreign minister attends informal meeting of foreign ministers of EU member states

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur participated in informal discussions between foreign ministers of the EU member states and their counterparts of the Eastern Partnership countries, held on 3 September, in the context of the Gymnich meeting of heads of European diplomacies, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
The event's agenda provided the opportunity to carry out an exchange of opinions about cooperation within the Eastern Partnership, being tackled prospects for development of bilateral relations of EU partner countries, as well as evolutions within the partnership's multilateral platform.
The Moldovan official opted foor advancing the Moldovan-EU relations, thus turnin to good account the political asssociation with EU and ensuring economic integration into the EU area. The list of priorities included promotion of concrete projects in services and communications, by developing infrastructure necessary for facilitating contacts between people and by implementing programmes on investment facilitation.
The sides also referred to the preliminary agenda of future summit of Eastern Partnership due in 2017, identifying priorities and expected results.
