Moldovan foreign minister receives parliamentary vice-minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration today received parliamentary Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Motomit Takisawa. The Japanese official arrived in Chisinau on the occasion of the official inauguration of the Japanese Embassy in Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The two officials exchanged views on bilateral relations, expressing mutual interest in deepening political dialogue, the need to recover further economic and investment potential of trade between countries, cooperation within international organizations.
The sides expressed confidence that diplomatic missions' mutual opening in Chisinau and Tokyo will boost high-level contacts and calendar sectoral cooperation. Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur expressed thanks to the official from Japan for the valuable assistance stipulated to Moldova through the Government of Japan's technical assistance programs and expressed hopes for finance priority projects for the Government of the Republic of Moldova, especially in agriculture, education and health domains.
At his part, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Motomit Takisawa reiterated his country's willingness to continue to support the Moldovan authorities in implementing reforms and the state modernization.
