Moldovan deputy foreign minister meets counterparts from Slovakia, Romania

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Strasbourg, Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii today had bilateral meetings with counterparts from Slovakia and Romania, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
The talks with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Lukáš Parízek were focused on the main issues on bilateral cooperation. In this context, the officials expressed the common interest in further promoting the Moldovan-Slovak political dialogue, including by organising mutual visits at different level, boosting the economic cooperation and expanding the bilateral legal framework.
The Moldovan-Romanian cooperation within the Council of Europe represented the important topic of talks with Romanian State Secretary for Strategic Affairs Danut Sebastian Neculaescu. The sides found the impact of assistance offered to Moldova via the action plan on supporting democratic reforms in Moldova 2013-2016, opting for ensuring continuity in the next cooperation framework document Moldova-Council of Europe.
