Moldovan PM attends Heads of State CIS Council meeting

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip will undertake on 15-17 September 2016, a visit to Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, to participate in the meeting of Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

During the visit, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers will also have a series of bilateral meetings with heads of CIS member states, which will be addressed topical issues for Moldova and opportunities of strengthening diplomatic relations, including trade and economic ones.

Moldova joined the CIS in 1991. organization includes 11 states, and this year presidency is held by the Kyrgyz Republic.
