Termoelectrica requests adjustment in electricity, heat tariffs

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ – The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) announced today that received S.A. "Termoelectrica"’s request of approving the new tariffs to produce electricity and heat supplied to consumers.
According to ANRE’s press service, S.A. "Termoelectrica" suggests electricity tariff increase by 12,3 per cent up to 179,51 lei/kWh, and consumers’ heat tariff by 27,4 per cent up to 1257,38 lei/Gcal.
The request is justifies significant cost increase of electric and thermal energy production and supply since last tariff adjustment which was in October 2011.
ANRE conducts on Tuesday public debates on request and arguments received concerning new tariffs.
S.A. "Termoelectrica" was created in June 2015 as a result of reorganization of three previously existing entities – S.A. "Termocom", "CET-1" and "CET-2".
