Moldovan, U.S. armies conduct joint military training exercise

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ – Inter-operability between subdivisions of the National Army and the United States is tested in the exercise "Joint Combined Exchange Training – 2016" (JCET), held at the National Army's military training base on 1 – 30 September, this year.
According to the commander of the Fulger special battalion, lieutenant-colonel Veaceslav Balan, sixty Moldovan servicemen are trained by 10 instructors from Group 10 of Special Forces (Airborne) of the U.S. Army in the special shooting firings and tactical missions with battle shooting at group level, research, training and field exercises.
"Joint Combined Exchange Training", in which Moldovan soldiers have been participating since 2012, takes place within the Partnership for Peace, signed by Moldova in 1994.
