Moldovan cabinet has new secretary general

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the resignation by Government Secretary General Tudor Copaci, and appointed Lilia Palii to this position. She has held the post of chief state adviser of the prime minister so far, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has said that Tudor Copaci led the State Chancellery on a complicated period, when the situation was to be stabilized in Moldova. The PM noted that Copaci had coped with the task and thanked him. At the same time, the prime minister specified that Tudor Copaci would continue acting in the government’s team in another office.
Also, the PM highlighted the rich experience of Mrs. Palii in public administration. Pavel Filip stressed the importance of her mission in the new post, in the context of the public administration reform, including of the State Chancellery, started by the government, as well as in promoting the territorial and administrative reform.
