More medications to reappear in Moldovan drug stores

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- More medications missing on the market, including without analogues, will reappear in the Moldovan drug stores.
The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) set the list of medicines after assessing the situation as regards supplying pharmaceutical market, talks with producers and distributors, as well as based on requests from people.
Thus, the commission on import of pharmaceutical products issued import authorizations for 107 names of pharmaceuticals, which were not registered. Most are vital and have no analogues on the market.
“Among drug preparations are: Keppra, Fotil, Eufilin, Fortrans, Fenazepam, Traumeel, Hondrolon, Spegal, Teveten, Taflotan, Fenistil, Rivotril etc. Viburcol, which has been recently re-authorized, will return in drug stores,” a communiqué by AMDM reads.
Last week, Prime Minister Pavel Filip summoned representatives of institutions in charge of implementing an action plan on settling problems in pharmaceutical field, in order to punctually discuss the actions that were not fulfilled and ways for removing hindrances to enforcing them. The PM asked “to take every needed measures to ensure a good development of centralized procurement of medicines nationally, as well as to boost the communication activity in this sector.”
