Moldovan prime minister talks with Russian president on Moldo-Russian relations

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ – The relations of the Republic of Moldova with the Russian Federation were discussed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the meeting of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, held on 16-17 September in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that the discussion had a constructive character, based on issues of mutual interest. Specifically, it was agreed to continue work on the Action Plan development, a document on which perspective Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, had agreed during the meeting of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which took place in June this year, also in Bishkek.
"The experts' groups from Moldova and the Russian Federation met already and set a draft document. We will do everything possible to complete this Action Plan successfully, so that to solve more patterns existing at present between Moldova and the Russian Federation," said Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
The Moldovan prime minister said that the CIS meeting is the right background for communication, including that at bilateral level, providing the opportunity to discuss and find ways of solving problems which arise between the CIS states.
