UN National Army contingent of Moldova trains in multinational exercise in Romania

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ – A platoon of military men of the peacekeeping Battalion 22 on 19-30 September participates in a training module, "Platinum Lynx 16.5," held at the shooting range Babadag from Tulcea, Romania.
According to the Ministry of Defence press release, the Moldovan peacekeepers make shootings, carry out missions on providing first aid in areas of operations and exercising procedures for control and supervision at the level of sub-units, within "Platinum Lynx 16.5".
Over 200 Romanian Land Forces troops and more than 300 servicemen from Bulgaria, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Slovenia, USA and Ukraine participate in the exercises in Babadag.
The "Platinum Lynx 16.5" module is part of the multinational exercise scenario 'Black Sea Rotational Force 16 "(BSRF 16), organized by the American Marine Forces Command, deployed in Europe and Africa, and aims to enhance inter-operability through joint training of military for participation in peacekeeping operations and counter insurgency.
